"I was a truck technician before becoming a driver in 2008. Afterwards, I ran my own trucking company for 10 years hauling dry goods across the country. Over my professional experience in the trucking industry, I've driven in the oilfield hauling sand, flat-beds, tankers & autonomous trucks.
During this time, I saw the safety side of the industry not only in regards to the roads but also the drivers and their health. At some point I decided I wanted to do something to keep everyone safe.
When I opened Safety First Trucking Academy, I knew it was an opportunity to be at the head of the industry. Opening this school was a big change: I got to be part of something bigger than me.
